We met up with our neighbors for a spring break trip to Costa Rica. cAfter a long flight we stayed in a hotel near the airport in San Jose. The next morning we got in our car and headed into the mountains to La Fortuna. we stayed at the Tabacon Resort. It was amazing. The resort is surrounded by the hot springs. There many different actual hot spring pools at different temperatures. One has a swim up bar!
We went ziplining, saw sloths, ate good food and went on a hike that took us over a very high rope bridge in the jungle.
After la Fortuna we drover to Manuel Antonio park where we rented a house with a great pool set in the jungle. We saw toucans in the trees around the pool. We went on a long hike and saw lots of monkeys, birds, lizards and other naimals. We took surfing lessons and did not ziplining. It was a lot of fun.
